The 21st International Symposium on Intelligent Data Analysis will take place April 12-14, 2023 in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. https://ida2023.org/ * Deadline extended to 18/11/2022 * Authors are invited to submit original contributions on the topic of intelligent data analysis. IDA’s mission is to promote ideas over performance. Thus, while each contribution should contain some theoretical or empirical evaluation, exhaustive evaluation is not required as long as a convincing and solid motivation is given. Submissions will undergo a single-blind review process (author identities are known to reviewers). The conventional reviewing process, which favors incremental advances on established work, can discourage the kinds of papers that IDA 2023 aims to publish. The reviewing process will address this issue explicitly: referees will evaluate papers on the basis of novelty, technical quality, potential impact, and clarity. Furthermore, each submission will be reviewed by one of the senior program committee members. Any paper for which an SPC makes a convincing argument about how it addresses the symposium’s goals will be accepted independent of the overall review score. All accepted paper contributions will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series by Springer-Verlag. Proceedings from previous IDA symposia have appeared in the same series over the last two decades. It is required that at least one author of each accepted paper registers for the conference and presents and discusses the contribution at the conference. *Formatting instructions* Contributions, written in English, must be formatted according to the guidelines of the Lecture Notes of Computer Science (LNCS) series by Springer-Verlag, which are available together with templates here: https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sprin…p;reserved=0. We strongly recommend using the LNCS template for LaTeX. The page limit for any contribution, including figures, title pages, references, and appendices, is 10-12 pages in LNCS format. The deadline for late-breaking results and datasets is February 12, 2023. The submission formats are outlined below. *Research Papers* (deadline: January 29, 2023) Authors may choose between two formats: - /Full papers/ have at most 10 pages and report on mature work, or efforts that have reached an important milestone. They will get presentation slots of 20 to 30 minutes. - /Short papers/ have at most 4 pages and highlight efforts that might be in an early stage, but are important for the community to be made aware of; they can also present theories or systems that can be described concisely in the limited space. Short papers will get presentation slots of 10 to 15 minutes. *Late Breaking Results and Datasets* (deadline: February 12, 2023) This comprises submissions falling into the following categories: - /Late breaking results/ present new insights or information about research that was completed after the research paper submission deadline. - /Dataset submissions/ a new category that allow description of relevant research datasets. These need to be either fully publicly available or have to contain a publicly available subset. ICFCA 2023 - 2nd Call for Workshops and Tutorials

We invite proposals for both **full- and half-day workshops/tutorial** in current and emerging topics in (or related to) Formal Concept Analysis. The workshop and tutorials provide an opportunity to discuss novel topics in an interactive atmosphere. They can concentrate in-depth on research topics, but can also be devoted to application issues. ICFCA 2023 will be a hybrid conference with a strong emphasis on on-site interaction. Therefore all contributors are required to present their work locally in Kassel. # Duration & format We welcome both full- and half-day workshop/tutorial proposals. We would like to encourage proposers to aim for a program that is both varied and interesting. For workshops, especially where the format is concerned, we would like you to think about ways of going beyond the usual list of presentations of accepted papers. Another way of extending the usual format is to include a specific challenge problem that can be addressed by the workshop participants, with a dedicated challenge session in the workshop program. Note, however, that the challenge should be only one of the components of the workshop, targeting a problem which is specific to the workshop topic(s). # Combined Tutorial & Workshop Especially for a relatively novel but rapidly maturing topic, giving an introduction of the state-of-the-art may go beyond the scope of an invited presentation. Authors are encouraged to submit original scientific contributions such as state-of-art reviews and new research perspectives, groundbreaking ideas and/or architectures, solutions and/or applications for real problems, empirical and/or evaluation works, case studies, etc., in conformity with the themes of this Conference. Four types of papers can be submitted: Full paper: Finished or consolidated R&D works, to be included in one of the Conference themes. These papers are assigned a 6-page limit. Short paper: Ongoing works with relevant preliminary results, opened to discussion. These papers are assigned a 4-page limit. Poster paper: Initial work with relevant ideas, opened to discussion. These papers are assigned a 2-page limit. Company paper: Companies' papers that show practical experience, R & D, tools, etc., focused in some topics of the conference. These articles are abstracts with a maximum of 2 pages. Papers submitted for the Scientific Committee’s evaluation must not include any information leading to the authors’ identification. Therefore, the authors’ names, affiliations and bibliographic references should not be included in the early version. This information should only be included in the final version. The authors of accepted poster papers must also build and print a poster to be exhibited during the Conference. This poster must follow an A1 or A2 vertical format. The Conference includes Work Sessions where these posters are presented and orally discussed, with a 5-minute limit per poster. The authors of accepted full papers will dispose of a 15-minute presentation in the Conference Work Session, and approximately 5 minutes of discussion will follow each presentation.
