Picking up on Simon's point:

This list is called *Conceptual Graphs* and is dedicated to this topic and related topics. It is particularly meant to support topics discussed at the ICCS conferences.

Of course, discussions about PL etc are very welcome. However, CG is meant to be inclusive, hence discussions should be inclusive. In this context, the peculiar renaming of CG to the 'new PL' seems somewhat strange and uncalled for.

In short, if there is a strong feeling that a PL-only or PL-focussed list is needed, it must be said that CG cannot and will not be that list (as Simon already pointed out).

On a more technical note: Email software (usually) comes with the functionality 'Reply to List' or something along this line. So if you want to reply to a list topic, just hit that button instead 'reply-to' or 'reply-all'. Moreover, I would suggest not to discuss technical issues 'on' the list, but apart from it.
